Note that each prize can only be claimed once. That'll be enough to get you the first prize and possibly even the second if you run the rest of the race without bumping against a wall again. Make sure that you get the timing for that down properly and you can probably run most of two laps before you bump into anything. As you come down to the lower left side, the timing to start dashing right toward the finish line is tricky. The left side of the screen is the roughest part to navigate, but you can help your cause by keeping your finger on the d-pad and just making slight nudges to snake through the trees. You'll run faster and faster the longer you manage to sprint without ramming into an object, so make the most of that increased speed and adjust your timing accordingly. The trick is to make one of your laps last into a second lap. The Dash Circuit race can prove quite difficult, but if you get used to dashing you should be able to manage it. You can win prizes if you do well, including 100G if you finish it in less than 25 seconds and a Small Block if you clear it in less than 20. While you're in the shop, talk to the gentleman to the left of the counter for an opportunity to participate in the Dash Circuit race. The Bow is a good investment, at only 30G.
You can also purchase some items from the shop next to the blacksmith.
